How to Align Columns in Markdown Tables

Column alignment in Markdown is controlled strictly by where you place colons (:) in the delimiter row directly beneath the header.

Alignment	Delimiter Syntax	Behavior
Left Align	:---	Colon on the left side of hyphens. Text aligns to the left margin.
Center Align	:---:	Colons on both ends. Text centers horizontally in each cell.
Right Align	---:	Colon on the right side. Best for numeric data and currency.
