At MarkdownTables.com, your privacy and data security are foundational. We believe developer tools should respect user confidentiality by design.
No Server Uploads
All parsing, formatting, validation, and conversion happens strictly inside your local web browser using client-side JavaScript. Your tabular data never touches our servers.
No Databases or Accounts
We do not require accounts, logins, or credit cards. There is no remote database storing your drafts, spreadsheets, or Markdown code.
Zero Cell Logging
Our analytics (Google Analytics 4) track general page views and anonymous action counters (e.g. "Table Copied"). We never log table text or cell contents.
Local Storage Usage
To ensure you do not lose your work if your browser reloads, our tools use your browser's standard localStorage API to save your active table draft locally on your machine. This data is never sent across the network and can be cleared at any time using your browser settings or the "Clear" button in the toolbar.
Cookies and Advertising
We use Google AdSense and third-party advertising partners to serve non-intrusive advertisements that support the free operation of this service. These partners may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
